Yes, we love jazz and yes, we also love the diversity of cultures, the richness of sound colours and the freedom of improvisation. We are probably not alone in our opinion that this kind of music is moving, spontaneous, hits people's hearts and not infrequently gets into their legs.

Who or what is MOSAIK? We are 2 veteran representatives of the Viennese music scene with the names Paul Brezina and Peter Poropatis. We played with legendary formations such as "Unorthodox Behaviour Orchestra" or "Just For Funk" and already set musical accents in the country of Austria, which is predominantly characterised by commercial hits and folk tunes.

Even though people often try to put our music into different styles and pigeonholes, we reserve the freedom here to simply produce what we like. Music is an international language that, when "spoken" by people, can also be "understood".

We feel it is a great gift to have the talent to transform this audible form of communication into reality and to pass it on. Emotions are the expression of the soul and music is the best medium for this. We love what we do and it would make us very happy if you like it too. Let's get groovin'.
